At Muna Jewellery, 24K investment gold bars are sold without VAT. Gold coins, necklaces and other jewellery include 5% VAT in the price shown.
Gold Bars
In the UAE, investment-grade gold of 99% purity or higher is generally treated differently from jewellery for VAT. Our bars are 24K, marked 999.9, and are sold without VAT. The price on the product page is the price you pay for the bar.
Gold Coins
Our UAE gold coins are 21K or 22K, so they are not investment-grade bars. The price shown on the product page includes 5% VAT.
Jewellery
Gold jewellery, including necklaces and personalised name jewellery, includes 5% VAT in the price shown. Jewellery prices also include design and making.
